3D2N  Hiking Adventure

Welcome to the picturesque Penampang district, situated amidst the stunning backdrop of the Crocker Range in Sabah, Malaysia. Our adventure takes us deeper into this region, where we'll explore the hidden treasures of Longkugungan Village, Pitomuan Village, and Tugudon Village. These charming communities are nestled within the embrace of nature, offering a unique blend of cultural richness and breathtaking landscapes. Join us on this journey as we uncover the beauty and traditions of these remarkable villages in the heart of the Crocker Range. 

PROGRAM ITINERARY

Day 1: Departure from Kota Kinabalu

7.00am - Meet with our driver and depart to meeting point

8.00am - Meet Up at Mile 32 Tambunan Road(1600m asl).

9.00am - Start hike to Longkugungan(9km).Hike on ridgeline in pristine cold forest before going down long spur to Longkugungan river.

2.00pm - Hike along and river cross at some points. Overnight balairaya or host house(600m asl).

Day 2: Hiking to Kalangaan or Pitomuan

8.00am - Continue hike to Kalangaan(5km) or Pitomuan(7km Frm Kalangaan).Overnight Kalangaan(450m asl) or Pitomuan(540m asl).Mingle with hosts and environment. River and paddy fields by house side.

Day 3: Hiking to Tugudon . Return to Kota Kinabalu

7.00am - Continue hike out along Pitomuan river in pristine forest to Kg.Tugudon(14km). Linopot lunch by the tributary.

3.30pm - ETA Kampung Tugudon(1000m asl).

3.45pm - Adventure ends.
