PROGRAM ITINERARY

Day 1: Journey to the Heart of the Rainforest

MEALS : D

● Your adventure begins in Sandakan, where you'll be picked up from designated locations:

○ Wisma Khoo / Behind Suntos Supermarket (11:45 AM)

○ Sandakan Airport (12:00 PM - for arrivals before designated pick-up time only)

○ Sepilok Area (Sepilok Centre / Accommodation) (12:45 PM)

● After pick-up, enjoy a scenic 2-hour drive to the Kinabatangan River, passing through local villages and lush landscapes. 

● Upon arrival at  the Resort, you'll be greeted by the staff with a short briefing on the resort and safety guidelines.

● Check into your eco-lodge and settle in for your rainforest retreat.

● In the afternoon, embark on your first river cruise adventure! Cruise along the Kinabatangan River in search of Borneo's fascinating wildlife, including proboscis monkeys, orangutans, and pygmy elephants.(wildlife sightings depend on the season and are not guaranteed). 

● After the thrilling cruise, return to the resort and enjoy a delicious dinner.

● Spend the night surrounded by the sounds of the rainforest in your comfortable eco-lodge.

Day 2: Exploring the Kinabatangan River and Rainforest

● Wake up to the harmonious calls of gibbons and hornbills, a true sign of Borneo's rich biodiversity.

● Embark on an early morning river cruise, offering another chance to witness the wonders of the Kinabatangan River.

● Return to the resort and energize for the day with a hearty breakfast.

● Relax on the deck overlooking the Kinabatangan River, enjoying a delightful lunch.

● In the afternoon, embark on another river cruise, offering more opportunities to capture stunning wildlife sightings. The ever-changing river promises new encounters with Borneo's

creatures.

● After the cruise, return to the resort for a delicious dinner.

● Spend your second night nestled amidst the rainforest at the Resort.

Day 3: Farewell to the Rainforest Paradise

● Rise and greet the rainforest for the last time with a final morning river cruise along the Kinabatangan River. Upon returning to the resort, a hearty breakfast will be served. 

● Check out of your eco-lodge, bidding farewell to your unforgettable Bornean experience.

● You'll be dropped off at your designated hotel in Sandakan town or Sandakan Airport.Please ensure your flight is scheduled after 2:00 PM to allow enough time for the transfer. 

*Four (4) scheduled river cruises with boat on a sharing basis (Day 1 – Afternoon cruise; Day 2 –Morning cruise & Afternoon; Day 3 – Morning Cruise) - (weather permitting)

*One (1) guided jungle walk within Resort area - (weather permitting)
