Borneo Wanderer Travel Sdn Bhd Terms and Conditions

Welcome! By booking a tour with Borneo Wanderer Travel Sdn Bhd (us), you agree to these terms and conditions. We're committed to sustainable tourism and appreciate your paperless cooperation!

Deposits & Balance

• Multi-Day Tours & Mountain Climbing: A non-refundable 50% deposit is required to confirm your booking.

• Review Confirmation: Double-check your confirmation for accuracy and report any errors to us.

• Balance Payment: The remaining balance (or full payment if booked within 45 days) is due 45 days before your tour. Bookings are not confirmed until full payment is received and confirmed in writing.

• Late Bookings: Bookings made within 30 days of departure require full payment at booking.

• Late Payments: We reserve the right to cancel your booking and retain your deposit if full payment isn't received by the due date.

• Peak Season Surcharge : An additional MYR 50 surcharge applies to all tours and accommodations during peak season.

Amendments

• Free Changes: Up to 30 days before departure, you can make two free amendments per booking (additional costs may apply if new prices are higher).

• Amendment Fee: Subsequent changes incur a MYR 150 fee per change.

Cancellations

• Cancellation by Us: If we cancel your tour (excluding Force Majeure or your fault), you can choose:

  • A substitute tour of equal or greater value.

  • A substitute tour of lesser value with a refund for the price difference.

  • A credit note for a future booking.

• No Refunds for Unused Services: We won't offer refunds, discounts, or reimbursements for missed or unused services after tour departure due to reasons beyond our control. This includes removal from the tour due to your negligence or breach of terms.

Cancellation Charges

• More than 30 days: Loss of deposit

• 30 days or less: 100% of total booking cost

Claims & Refunds for Unused Services

No refunds or exchanges are possible for unused services included in the tour price (accommodation, meals, sightseeing, transportation, etc.).
